HRS Princess has written a most beautiful and classic song entitled 'If Not For Grace', which depicts the state of desolation that exists for many children in the world, and, were it not for the Grace of a greater force, it could be the plight of many of our own children. The song was birthed in pain, after witnessing un-imaginable pain and seeks a solution, in our collective efforts to reduce the circumstances that give rise to such devastating tragedies, such as Darfur and the general state of poverty worldwide. The details of this project and the songs inception can be read on www.hrsprincessfoundation.org.

As an exciting conclusion to the Mercedes Benz Polo Challenge Cup on August 23rd this year, "Jour Royale" (Royal Day) features a benefit concert to raise funds for children’s charities with a special emphasis on Darfur. The concert is headlined by Britain’s HRS Princess and her band The Crown Jewels which promises to be a real treat and a first for the attendees of this prestigious event.

Added to the offerings, there will be an auction of superb drawings and paintings by 'Quick-Draw' artist, extraordinaire, Lynn Matsuoka, known for her powerful representations of the art of Sumo and Kabuki.

In the past the event has been attended by the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Candice Bergen, Brooke Shields, etc and has attracted press coverage from publications such as People, In Touch, US Weekly, USA Today, Hamptons Magazine, Forbes and TV exposure such as Extra, Access Hollywood and Fabulous Life on VH1 .

Indeed, this is a superb benefit concert within the regal setting of a world class polo event, bringing that most unique of 'flavors' that could be savored, only, at an event such as this - Polo The Game of The Royals!

Children InternationalHRS Princess has written a most beautiful and classic song entitled 'If Not For Grace', which depicts the state of desolation that exists for many children in the world, and, were it not for the Grace of a greater force, it could be the plight of many of our own children. The song was birthed in pain, after witnessing un-imaginable pain and seeks a solution, in our collective efforts to reduce the circumstances that give rise to such devastating tragedies, such as Darfur and the general state of poverty worldwide. The details of this project and the songs inception can be read on www.hrsprincessfoundation.org .

HRS Princess will donate the majority of the proceeds from the sale of this record to a charity that deals with alleviating the suffering experienced by children. One of the charities chosen is Children International.

It is intended to create a video of the inception of the song which will include a graphic depiction of circumstances within these refugee camps from the perspective of a child. This will then be made available to the mass market as a DVD single, with endorsements from key celebrities who are presently involved in Africa and other countries with similar circumstances.

The project ' If Not For Grace' features spoken word performance by Mekka Don ( www.mekkadon.com ), who is a rapper/ musician and lawyer, of Nigerian origin. His father is Okey Onyejekwe, the Governance Expert for the UN Economic Commission for Africa. They are working closely with Mekka Don and, through him, his father, in assisting them with getting the proper support, that will facilitate efficient distribution of the initial proceeds from this project to answer children's needs in Darfur.

This song will be generating funds in perpetuity for children's needs worldwide through the auspices of the HRS Princess Foundation.

The project is being launched at the Mercedes Benz Polo Challenge at the Bridgehampton Polo Club August 23rd.
