Dr. Frank Lipman is the founder and director of the Eleven Eleven Wellness Center in New York City.
While practicing western medicine, he became more and more aware of both the weaknesses and strengths of his training. He then began to study acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, nutrition, Herbal Medicine, biofeedback, meditation and yoga. Dr. Lipman subsequently initiated complementary therapies at Betances Health Unit and Gramercy Park Sports Medicine in NYC before founding the Eleven Eleven Wellness Center in 1992, where he practices what is being called Integrative Medicine, incorporating his knowledge of the many systems and modalities he has studied. The focus of the center is on preventive health care and patient education.
He works actively with and is on the board of 2 non profits who do incredible work in South Africa, the Ubuntu Education Fund and Monkeybiz . He is also on the advisory board of a number of organizations including:
