Trained in all the worlds religions, as well as ancient ritual and prayer, Rev. Laurie Sue Brockway is comfortable with any faith or spiritual practice.

She is open to including any religious, spiritual, cultural or family tradition, as well as creating an imaginative, romantic, non-religious ceremony. Because of her flexibility, couples that seek a highly creative and spiritual ceremony call upon her as well.

Perhaps what also makes her wedding ministry unique is her deep understanding of human relationships and her appreciation of the sacred nature of love. She has an extraordinary grasp on what it takes for two people to commit themselves in sacred union; and she understands how important it is that the wedding ceremony be utilized as the sacred start of their life together.

She also understands family dynamics and the role they play in not just a wedding ceremony, but the entire process of wedding planning. She is insightful and genuinely warm, making everyone involved feel comfortable and able to share in her enthusiasm, love, and profoundity for the sacred union you are emabarking upon.

She brings creativity and well-honed writing skills to the creation of wedding ceremonies. Prior to becoming a minister, she enjoyed a 20 year career in media as a widely published journalist, editor and author, specializing in coverage of what she refers to as the "Relationship Revolution." Her articles have been published around the world.

Specializing in matters of heart and soul

It was her desire to evolve years of specialized reporting on male-female relationship dynamics into a more spiritual pursuit that led her to return to school to train to become an minister. She opted for interfaith training because of its all-inclusive approach -- celebrating all faiths and embracing all aspects of the divine. Developing a wedding ministry, along with many popular relationship enhancement programs, came very naturally to her.

She continues to write on soul mates, relationship enhancement and weddings (find her articles on SoulfulLiving.com. ) She's a graduate of the New Seminary and is a member of the Association of Interfaith Ministers. Her wedding ministry is based in New York.

Dena Ventrudo & her fiance, Eugene P. Kelly (Photograph by Dena Ventrudo)*As a side note, Rev. Laurie Sue is the wedding officiant for my wedding next year.  I knew my parents were feeling a bit akward about my fiance and I having a non-traditional ceremony and I wanted them to meet her.  I knew as soon as they did they would feel much better, and indeed they did.

She is very organized, very creative, very easy going, and absolutely wonderful all around. My parents had said after the meeting, "She's just so nice, I feel like I've always known her!". She knows her stuff and made us feel much less overwhelmed by the whole process!

My parents, my fiance and I were very excited upon the conclusion of our meeting, and are very much looking forward to having Rev. Laurie Sue preside over the most important day of me and my fiance's lives!

I have included a list of her links below.

Brightest Blessings,

Dena Ventrudo
