In the second of what promises to be a lively series, (click here for a review of the first book), author Patricia Brooks shares more of her autobiographical tale of spiritual growth. Written in an upbeat and humorous fashion, God is in the Little Things: Messages from the Golden Angels skips along in an engaging manner. Brook’s stories are lovely, like little pearls strung together in a delicate necklace.
Where her first book focused on her spiritual encounters with animals and totemic energy, this second effort is more concerned with those entities and energies traditionally called angels — the beings that guide us and love us and help us on our journey with messages and synchronicities. The personal circumstances of the author’s awakening, her steps of soul growth and how she came to get angelic communications, is a gripping story and one that the reader will want to follow for the rest of the series!
