Star Bathing, by Psychic Sahar Huneidi

As humans, we have always looked to the sun, moon and other nearby planets; charting their cycles and celebrating eclipses transits, and solstices. In fact, from time immemorial the ancients gazed at heaven seeking an understanding of the stars’ affect on the course of our destiny. Yet, often we forget that we can each have our own direct relationship with any heavenly body, expanding our sense of awareness and experiencing first-hand the wisdom of those ‘stellar beings’.
Did you know that you can absorb the energy and vitality of other stars directly? Just as many of us sun-bathe, consider another enjoyable alternative and star-bathe. Star-bathing may not give you a tan, however, it is certainly safer and can enhance your spiritual development and how you perceive and understand our universe.
Starlight fact file:
“Astronomers estimate there are approx. 150 billion galaxies that we can see in visible light. Our own Milky Way which is an average-sized galaxy stretches about 100,000 light years from extreme end to end. Compare that distance with the intergalactic distance between the Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy- the closest galaxy to our own some 2.2 million light years away, and you get some notion of scale in the Universe. The most distant objects are quasi-stellar objects that are somewhere between 10 and 2 billions of light years away.” Astronomer William Georgevich www.wpo.net
‘Astro-travelling’ is not a far-fetched idea as it may seem at first. I grew up in a desert, where the highlight of every school year was a two-week spring camping holiday spent literally lying on the desert earth and gazing at the stars.
Since I can remember I envied Superman’s extra-terrestrial abilities, for I too wanted to fly and be among the stars.
During times of crisis, such as the 1990 Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, I coped by taking many (mental) trips journeying further out into the universe, until the confinement of being under siege seemed immaterial.
Recently, I got my hands on a long sought after copy of Starlight Elixirs & Cosmic Vibrational Healing, by Michael Smulkis, and Fred Rubenfeld, which is unfortunately out of print.
In it, the authors write: “Each star has a personal history and expresses a consciousness with which you can have a relationship…the meditation on a star or the utilization of a star elixir can experientially bring into a people a deeper awareness which connects them to this much higher realm of consciousness. This will be unique and special for each person”.
Our relationships to the stars are closer than you think. Dr. Richard Muller, professor of Physics at the University of California, Berkeley; and author of another favourite book of mine, Nemesis The Death Star, writes “The fact that we have iron in our blood means that we, the atoms we are made of, were once inside a star that exploded. You and I are supernova remnants”.
US body therapist,Karen Clickner, author of Ancient Healing for Modern Times, (seewww.theherbaladvisor.com) explains thatpsychic work, or the practice of tuning into universal energy, can affect molecular structure of the brain, where Magnetite has been detected. “In some people makes them very sensitive to radio or TV waves, as well as having uncanny sense of direction.”
Meditating on a star
The source of creation, ‘let there be light’, is echoed in many spiritual traditions. When we meditate we may think of ‘light’, and bringing more light into our bodies. Consider that light is all around us, and that of the stars is full of ancient wisdom.
Light is a ‘quantum’ of information, a wave length or a frequency if you like. When we tune into the light, we tune into whatever frequency of ‘wisdom’ that light offers us at that moment in time, making each visit is unique.
Just imagine or pretend that you are communicating with the conscious part of that star, make a connection and then start ‘downloading’ that light. If you have the luxury of a garden, weather permitting of course, lie on the ground feeling connected to earth energy. Otherwise sit comfortably, simply star gaze, and breathe in the light. I also suggest that you write your impressions down once your ‘star bath’ is over.
In the tradition of my Bedouin ‘ancestors’ who navigated their travels by the stars; you too can “take the earth as your mattress, and the stars as your blanket” and astro-travel any time. Till next month, love, light and healing.
