Celebrate Earth Day 2022

Earth Day falls on Friday, April 22nd.

After two years of smaller, online gatherings, people are ready to celebrate together and get active in their communities and corporations.  First started in 1970, Earth Day has been celebrated around the world by people from all walks of life who are concerned about making a sustainable future for their children. In the past, events, festivals and overall awareness campaigns mark the day, with the hope of preserving the environment.

The Earth Day 2022 theme is “Invest In Our Planet.”

From the website www.earthday.org we read: This is the moment to change it all — the business climate, the political climate, and how we take action on climate. Now is the time for the unstoppable courage to preserve and protect our health, our families, our livelihoods… together we must invest in our planet.

What will you do? Go to www.earthday.org to find a list of events in your area, or to register your own event.
